The Connecticut Judicial Branch announced on April 24 the schedule for Statewide Grievance Committee Reviewing Committee hearings to be held in April 2026. The hearings are set to take place in Hartford, Bridgeport, and Middletown at various court locations.
These hearings are important as they address complaints and grievances related to legal professionals and ensure accountability within the state’s legal system. The schedule includes several cases with specific docket numbers, such as Torres v. Ashling Soares and Rivera v. Mary Ellen Burns in Hartford on April 2, McKeen v. Andrew Garza in Bridgeport also on April 2, and Bridgeport Judicial District Grievance Panel v. Fatima Lobo in Middletown on April 8.
The Judicial Branch notes that all hearings will be conducted in person unless otherwise specified. Participants or interested parties are encouraged to confirm the status of any hearing by contacting the Statewide Grievance Committee via email at Statewide.Grievance@jud.ct.gov or by phone at (860) 296-3848.
For individuals requiring accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), information about local ADA contacts is available through the Connecticut Judicial Branch website or by reaching out directly to the committee’s contact email.
The branch reminds participants that scheduled hearings may be postponed at any time, underscoring the importance of verifying dates before attending.
