The Connecticut Judicial Branch’s Statewide Grievance Committee announced on Mar. 21 the schedule for its Reviewing Committee hearings to be held in March 2026. The hearings will take place in Waterbury, New Haven, and Bridgeport at various court locations.

These hearings are important for addressing grievances filed against attorneys and ensuring accountability within the legal profession. The committee reviews complaints and provides a forum for parties to present their cases.

According to the announcement, all hearings are scheduled to be conducted in person unless otherwise noted. The committee advises individuals to confirm the status of any hearing by contacting the Statewide Grievance Committee via email or phone, as schedules may change or hearings may be postponed.

The first set of hearings is scheduled for March 3 at Waterbury’s courthouse on Grand Street, followed by sessions on March 4 in New Haven at Church Street, and concluding with a session on March 12 in Bridgeport at Golden Hill Street. Cases listed include Maqbool v. Toya Graham, Sethi v. Toya Graham, Simons v. Richard Silverstein, Olsen v. Zachary King, Bridgeport Judicial District Grievance Panel v. Benjamin Paholke, Slack v. Steven Gu, Zilahy v. Eddi Zyko, Lee v. Michael Lartigue, and Valentine v. Kathleen Kowalshyn.

For those requiring accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), information is available through local ADA contact persons or by reaching out directly to the Statewide Grievance Committee.

The committee encourages interested parties to check the Judicial Branch website for updates regarding hearing dates and locations.
