Connecticut Statewide Grievance Committee schedules January 2026 disciplinary hearings

The Connecticut Judicial Branch’s Statewide Grievance Committee has released its schedule for Reviewing Committee Hearings in January 2026. The hearings will take place in various cities across the state, including Waterbury, New Haven, Bridgeport, and Middletown.

According to the announcement, “The hearings scheduled below are subject to postponement at any time. Please contact the Statewide Grievance Committee at Statewide.Grievance@jud.ct.gov or (860) 296-3848 to confirm the status of any hearing listed on this schedule or to confirm that the hearing will be going forward on a particular date and time.”

All hearings are set to be held in person unless otherwise specified. Individuals who require accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are advised: “To request an accommodation under the ADA, please locate your local ADA contact person for the court location at http://www.jud.ct.ov/ADA/towns.htm or contact the Statewide Grievance Committee at Statewide.Grievance@jud.ct.gov.”

The schedule is as follows:

On January 6, hearings will be held at 300 Grand Street in Waterbury. Cases include Nycz v. Brian Lambeck, Sethi v. Toya Graham, and Maqbool v. Toya Graham.

On January 7, proceedings move to 235 Church Street in New Haven with cases Slack v. Steven Gu, Bridgeport Judicial District Grievance Panel v. Benjamin Paholke, and Olsen v. Zachary King.

Bridgeport’s session on January 8 at 172 Golden Hill St. includes Shuter v. Frank J. Romeo III, Middlesex Judicial District Grievance Panel v. Mohan Sreenivasan, and Visconti v. Jeremiah Morytko.

Finally, Middletown hosts hearings on January 14 at 1 Court Street with Hartford Judicial District Grievance Panel v. William Hennessey, Baltzell v. Eli Bassman, and Meccariello v. Shawna Kohl.
