The Sentence Review Division of the Superior Court of Connecticut announced on Apr. 2 that applications for review of sentence in certain cases will be dismissed by order of the Sentence Review Board at its session scheduled for March 24, 2026, at the Middletown Superior Court.

According to the announcement, any applicant who wishes to have their application heard must submit a written request to the Sentence Review Division on or before March 23, 2026. The session will take place at Middletown Superior Court, located at 1 Court Street in Middletown, Connecticut, in Courtroom 5-1.

One specific case listed is that of Robert Parris (docket number NNH-CR19-0225949-T), represented by William O’Connor from New Haven Judicial District. This case has been remanded for a new trial as per Supreme Court decision SC 20837 and is currently assigned to Cheshire.
