Terron Amado, also known as “Littles,” age 41 and formerly of Stratford, was sentenced to six years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl laced with xylazine and cocaine. The announcement was made by David X. Sullivan, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

U.S. District Judge Vernon D. Oliver handed down the sentence in Hartford. In addition to his prison term, Amado will serve five years of supervised release after completing his incarceration.

Court records indicate that Amado has a history of felony convictions in Connecticut, including robbery, firearm offenses, and narcotics violations. Authorities found that after relocating to Georgia in 2017, he regularly traveled back to Connecticut for drug transactions. He used rental cars and stayed at Airbnb properties during these trips.

In July 2023, law enforcement conducted a controlled purchase from Amado involving approximately 20 grams of fentanyl in Stratford. On July 28, 2023, he was arrested while in possession of about 220 grams of fentanyl mixed with xylazine, 370 grams of powder cocaine, 30 grams of crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

Amado pleaded guilty on September 25, 2025, to possession with intent to distribute at least 40 grams of fentanyl.

The investigation was led by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Bridgeport High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force. Personnel from several agencies participated: the DEA Bridgeport Resident Office; Connecticut State Police; and police departments from Bridgeport, Danbury, Norwalk, Stamford, Stratford, and Milford. Assistant U.S. Attorney Karen L. Peck prosecuted the case.

“This matter was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Bridgeport High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force, including personnel from the DEA Bridgeport Resident Office, the Connecticut State Police, and the Bridgeport, Danbury, Norwalk, Stamford, Stratford, and Milford Police Departments,” according to the statement from prosecutors.
