Joshua Bailey, 46, of Milford, was sentenced on Mar. 12 to 144 months in federal prison and ten years of supervised release for enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity, according to David X. Sullivan, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
The case concerns an incident from March 2024 when Elizabeth Jordan, under pressure from Bailey, engaged in sexual activity with a minor and livestreamed it to Bailey via Facebook Messenger. Authorities later found screenshots of the illegal act on Bailey’s phone.
Bailey and Jordan were both arrested in August 2024 on related state charges and have remained detained since then. Both pleaded guilty in federal court on Nov. 3, 2025, to enticement of a minor for illegal sexual activity.
U.S. District Judge Sarala V. Nagala ordered Bailey to pay $5,000 under the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act of 2015 and $10,000 under the Amy, Vicky, and Andy Child Pornography Victim Assistance Act of 2018. Jordan is awaiting sentencing.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and West Haven Police Department investigated the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Edward Chang is prosecuting it.
This prosecution falls under the Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood Initiative aimed at protecting children from abuse and exploitation. More information about Project Safe Childhood can be found at www.justice.gov/psc.
