Sentence review applications face dismissal unless written requests submitted by deadline

The Sentence Review Division of the Superior Court of Connecticut has announced that applications for review of sentence in two cases are set to be dismissed. The dismissals will occur by order of the Sentence Review Board during its session scheduled for February 24, 2026, at the Middletown Superior Court.

According to the notice, unless a written request is received by the Sentence Review Division on or before February 23, 2026, the applications will not proceed to a hearing. The notice states: “A WRITTEN REQUEST TO HAVE SAID APPLICATION HEARD IS RECEIVED BY THE SENTENCE REVIEW DIVISION ON OR BEFORE February 23, 2026.”

The two applicants listed are Kevin Pereira Patricio and Victor Pergee. Both applications were noted as late filings. Patricio’s case originates from the Danbury Judicial District with counsel James Lamontagne and is identified under docket number DBD-CR24-0197203-T. Pergee’s application comes from New Haven GA with counsel David Forsythe and is recorded under docket number N23N-CR23-0249043-T; his filing was also marked as involving less than three years jail time.
